Sketch and Easter

Today starts a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug.
The image has been colored with Promarkers. I used mandala stamp for the background, I heat embossed with white and inked with yellow. The white panel was die cut using dies from Pinkfresh studios. An Easter sentiment and flowers from my stash.

Twofer - Your choice

 

Here are my two cards for the Twofer Card Challenge #36, where the theme is up to you. 

For both cards I used a mandala stamp fromPapirdersign. I made an appreciation card and a congratulations card for an anniversary.

 

 

 

1) ANNIVERSARY/CONGRATULATIONS CARD

The background was heat embossed with white and inked with eggshell. The edges were cut with a border die from Pinkfresh studios. A third mandala was stamped and fussy cut and layered with foam. Two wooden birds from my stash and a sentiment.

2) APPRECIATION CARD
The mandala was stamped twice, over the edge, heat embossed with gold on black. The sentimetn was stamped on a strip and golden sequins were added.

Ink #235 Fur or Feathers

For our new challenge at Inkspirational it was my turn to choose a theme and I chose "fur or feathers". I hope the theme will inspire you to come join us - the challenge runs for 2 weeks.

I made a mini slimline card, using an old paper that came free with a magazine as background. The chicken, eggs and hen stamps are old uninked one. I die cut frames and added various sized flowers from my stash.

Things with wings

This week's challenge at Catch the Bug is THINGS WITH WINGS.

The image is Jacobean Bird 1 and I colored it using peach, coral and green Promarkers.
I die cut a bird cage (Poppy) and heat embossed it to give it a metllic finish.
I heat embossed "Just a note" onto musical noted vellum and added flowers and lace.
I'd say it's not a typical card for me, but I'm trying to go for for feminine and use up some of the gorgeous flowers I've got in my stash. I got myself a glue gun, it's a must to get them stuck.

Ink #234 Dog photo

For our new challenge at Inkspirational we have a photo of a dog. And a fottball. But I went with the dog.

I used a stamp that came free with a magazine several years ago. The dog got company of a hat, balloons and sentiment from MFT.The  bacground was inked, masking the floor.
