It's Thursday and time for an OLDIE BUT GOODIE over at Catch the Bug and a new challenge over at Outlawz Twisted Thursday. And this time it's ANYTHING GOES week.
The image is called Winter Bird Trio and is colored with Promarkers. There's quite a lot of glitter on this card and the stitched die cut frame is covered with gesso. I'v used scrap pieces to punch and die cut branches, holly leaves, cone and the sentiment also got covered with gold EP and was heat set.

What is it about birds on a branch that just oozes Christmas? I don't know, but I know I love it when I see it. They are so stinking cute with their festive hats on and bells and how you framed with the wonderful wintry elements is perfect. The shimmers and snow are fantastic!!

This card is very fun and elegant toghether! You have created a very interesting frame around the birds with the gesso and all these embellishments, I think it's very creative! The gesso gives to the card a feel of shabby, as the dp you used. And the sparkling on the head of the birds gives a fun effect!
I must buy a gold EP, love your sentiment, it has a fabulous look!!

Yes ... I tend to work in midst of a crafty collection of mess and no the photo wasn't as bad as it gets, so know what you mean. I don't tidy as I go, would that I did. :)
