If you ask me to do a one layer, it's like Phew, ooh, aaahh, like I've got pain in my body somewhere. But when taking a photo of this card I was like, I did a one layer without being required to! AND I had un making it! AND I followed a specific color scheme!
I started off using a splatter stamp given to me by Donna, using orange and red ink. Then I added the Kaiserkraft sentimentin purple and red. I also used some sentiment stamps I got from my sister, using purple and red inks. I lacked a bit of yellow, so I used a star stencil and yellow ink for that. The bottom felt empty so another stencil was used along with red and orange ink. There wasn't enough yellow so I added a few yellow gems.

Love this one.
This card would be perfect for the young fellow birthday cards that I seem to struggle to come up with design ideas for.
Love the vivid and bold colours and your design.
Way to go in stepping outside your comfort zone on several levels! Cheering the one layer (I don't think I've ever made one; I *need* my stitched rectangle panel *grin*) and completely smitten with your graffiti! Awesome card; so thrilled you shared this at Inkspirational!

Just so cool! Job well done, Pia! Love the grungy look and bold colors. Happy Sunday... trying to catch up on all kinds of bloggy things-- life has been busy. (I know I always say it, but my family is so busy with two girls traveling for softball an my MIL recently home [next door] from the physical therapy rehabilitation center... plus, you know, this job thing... Sigh... here's to today!)
