Penguins and polar bear

I'm continuing to make Christmas cards, I prefer to have them ready and made well in advance. For this card I was inspired by the bottom right card over at Muse Christmas Visions, using penguins and the placement og the circle shape on the background.

The penguins and polar bear came free with a magazine. The snowflake wreath is a Magnolia stamp. My favorite embellies, sequins, here in the shape of snowflakes, add a bit of shine, which is what I love about sequins. The sentiment is Hero Arts. I made the background with blue and black DI. The snowhills are made with Poppy dies.

Rose in vase

As from today Catch the Bug is back to normal schedule with daily posts. Today starts a new challenge and it's bingo time.
I played with a rose in vase image, printed it quite large, almost the length of an A2 size card. I colored it with promarkers and added gloss to the vase. The paper is from a Christmas collection. Added string and a birthday sentiment.

CASE Christmas card

I love my new stamp set from Inkadinkado and here's another version with the bauble bird. The hollies and sentiment are from the same set, the two other baubles and little bows are from Lawn Fawn. The green textured glitter tape was a gift from Mimi - thank you! I was inspired by the top right card over at Muse Christmas Visions:

Holly and bird ornament

Another Christmas card done.
I used a holly Tim Holtz stencil, started off by adding white ink, then layered on some green. White liquid enamel dots.
The stamps used are new to me, they're from a set from Inkadinkado. Cut the panel with a wonky stitched die from MFT.
Finished the card off by adding as gingham ribbon bow.

Farm animals

Happy Friday! I'm here to show you my card featuring this week's Freebie Friday -  you can pick it up for free in the Bugaboo store.

I used my Promarkers to color the image and cut an oval frame of kraft and a fence. A flower and some leaf. The background is made of one DP, but to mix thepatterns even more I cut  into squares and placed them at random. One I had done that I cut the panel with my wonk stitched border die.

Crazy birds and Distress Oxides

My crazy birds deserved to get aired again, so out they came, or at least three of them. I stamped them a bit random and over the edge on a 'mop up' background made with DOx. I just colored in a few details of the birds with a peachy brownish marker to keep in sync with the earthly peach like colors of the base. I used a white gel pen to color their eyes. The sentiment came free with a magazine. I used my wonky stitched die from MFT to cut the panel.

Poinsettia stencil - take 2

Some of you might remember that I  showed a stenciled poinsettia card last week, with inlaid sentiment, liquid pearls and sequins (you can see the card here) and grey and pink colors.

For this card I used the same cencept and materials, but in traditional Christmas colors andwith a different layout.

It's a quick card to make, and I'll probably make even more of these with variations in colors or layout.

This card is for:
