Christmas roses x 2

I have two cards to share today. For both cards I used some Christmas roses stamps from Panduro.

1)
For the first card I was inspired by the sketch over at LIM, keeping it all very simple. The sentiment is a freebie. I used a stitched die to cut the panel, and I also want to give credit to Imke of My Crafty Place for her idea of stapling on the sequins.

This card is for:
Less Is More - #370 Sketch
4 Crafty Chicks - #400 Less Is More
Rudolph's Day - April

2)
For the second card I was inspired by the CASE card over at CCC, but I went with a Christmas theme. I used a MB heart die and a background stap from Tim Holtz, heat embossed with white and I applied grey DI.

This card is for:
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Knitting or Sewing

Here's Jack

There's a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and this is my inspiration card.

I used one of Jodie's newest images. With 5 nephews I was delighted to see the cute new range of Jack images - this one you can find in the store here.
Papers are from Maja Design, no embellies, just DPs and a die cut heart with a birthday greeting.

Bingo with puppies and balloons

I have made this card for this week's Bingo challenge over at Catch the Bug. I used the row of die/punch + sentiment + texture.

I used two images - Birthday Puppies and balloons from the Birthday Unicorn set - colored with Promarkers. There's a black die cut circle, a DP I've had for ages, a scrap of cardboard and a sentiment cut from a paper. And I couldn't resist adding the nevenly stitched line.

Levi's 3rd Birthday card

My youngest nephew, Levi, will turn 3 this summer and this will be my card for him. The little one in the photo looks pretty much like Levi.

I really struggle with my creativity lately, it seems I've hardly made anything, just been moving bits and bobs, changed DPs and what not. Almost nothing got glued to become a card. But I managed to make this, with a few scraps, a border with spots, cardboard, cheesecloth and washi tape. I added a bit of white splatter and a stamped birthday greeting.

This card is for:
Shopping Our Stash - #350 Yo, dude
Fussy and Fancy - #209 - Add a sentiment

I used an image from Goofy Snowmen set and colored it with Promarkers. The DPs are a random selecion from my stash and scraps. I've used the envelope from Lawn Fawn again, it seems to appear on most of my cards lately. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.

This card is also for:

Unicorns

I have made this card for this week's Saturday challenge over at Catch the Bug, the theme this week being Rainbows/Unicorns.

I used the image Unicorn Believe Blocks colored with Promarkers and cut it into separate pieces. The background I made with DI colors to pick up the ones from the image there's yellow, pink and purple. I also added a few flower shaped sequins in pink and silver with pink gem stones I've had for ages.

Guest Designer at Twofer Card Challenge

I’m so happy to be guest designer for Twofer Card Challenge and I’ve made two cards for the theme of pets. The cards need to be for different occasions and with different designs, and you’ll need to use the same image or die for both cards. You can read more about the rules here. I used the same cat image, one from Penny Black. For the birthday card I kept the whole image and added an extra layer on the flowers, for my Christmas version I fussy cut the cat.

Card 1 -  Birthday Card (to the left)
I cut the image with a tag die and added lace and string.  I added a piece of washi tape, some flowers and staped a few paw prints. This card is also for:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes / Spring Flowers
4 Crafty Chicks - #397 Flowers

Card 2 - Christmas Card (to the right)
I made the background using a stamp from Tim Holtz and an embossing folder with falling snow. A few die cuts, along with some sequins and a sticker sentiment. This card is also for:
Get Creative Challenges - #68 NO PATTERN PAPER
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge - #26 Anything Goes

Bird in the wood

I have made this card for this week's Anything Goes challenge over at Catch the Bug. One ore card for my Christas collection.

I used an older image, colored with Promarkers and fussy cut. I used tree and envelope stamps from two different Lawn Fawn sets, my stitched hills dies and my own made stencil for the clouds. I also added some white splatter, it shows IRL but no so much in the photo.

This card is also for:
ABC Christmas Challenge - H for Hats
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' - Anything Goes Christmas
A Snowflakes Promise - #49 Anything Goes
Passion For Promarkers Challenge - #438 Animals

Special Delivery

I have far less Christmas cards made than usual for this time of year, and I need to start building up my stash. So for my "Oldie but Goodie" card over at Catch the Bug I used the image Penguin snowflake, colored with Promarkers and a white gel pen.
The envelope is made with a Lawn Fawn stamp and the sentiment came free with a magazine.
I made a cloudy sky with my own made stencil and cut the panel with a wonky stitched die. Two DPs and a die cut snowflake. It's a non fussy and postage friendly card.

This card is for:
Sparkles Forum Christmas - #87 Feature a Creature
Winter Wonderland – ANIMALS
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas - #378 Anything Christmas Goes

Enjoying a glass of champagne

Back from holiday and I finally felt I had a bit of mojo to create a card. The image and stamped sentiment are both from Penny Black, I purchased some of their sets only a few weeks ago. Love the cat enjoing a glass of bubbly while taking a bath.
I also added a sentiment cut from a DP. The backgrond paper is from the same paper pad as the sentiment -  Kaisercraft.
I machine stitched a double line using white thread.

This card is for:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes
Show us Your Pussies - Furrything Goes
