CAS Christmas Tree - 3 shades of green

OK. First of all, green is not my favorite color. Second, I love CAS cards but it's not something I master. Third, it's impossible for me to take a good picture that really shows the true colors whenever greens are involved...
But still, I couldn't resist to have a go at the "Less is more" challenge! If one never tries, well... So I look at this card challenge as a good learning experience!
The tree is made of papers in 2 different shades of green. I used a die and glued the strips together before I cut a triangular shape. The ribbon is also in a shade of green, I used a dotty embossing folder to make the background appear as snow. The star at the top of the tree is a brad.

I enter this card into the following challenges:
1) "Less is More"  - Week 62 Three Shades of Green
2) Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - #67 White Christmas
3) Make it Monday - Anything Goes
