I used The Sweet Stop's sketch as inspiration for this design.
I machine stitched 4 panels of vellum note paper onto kraft paper, using silver thread.
I attached a Crafter's Companion decoupage image onto a cloud of light blue paper with silver heat embossed edges.
The chipboard snowflakes came free with a magazine, I attached pearls to their center, as well as one pearl in each corner of the card. The sentiment - "Merry Christmas" in Norwegian - is made with alphabet stickers.
I enter this card into these challenges:
1) The Sweet Stop - SSS186 Sketch
2) Christmas Crafting! - #16 Decoupage
3) Sparkles Forum Challenges - Christmas is coming

ReplyDeleteGreat card. You are a very good seamtress! Your stitching is so straight. Those little bears look like they are just floating on that cloud...so cute!!!
I sorted out my problem...too bad i didn't know about this sooner but every time you load a picture to your blog, blogger loads it onto Picassa. I did not know this...we all have Picassa accounts. If we resize our pictures to 800x800 pixels or lower, then they never count towards our free 1 gb limit at Picassa. So now I will just resize each image before i load it on my blog. Just one extra step...I use My Pictures to store the photos on my computer...it was the program that came free with the computer. So now, before I load the pictures in the midst of my blog post...I will just start taking my photo, loading it to my computer and then clicking edit and selecting resize and then size it down...
For the photos already stored in my pictures previously, i will just open My Pictures before creating my post and click on the photo I want to use and select edit and resize and save.
Hope this helps you.
If you want to check how much room you have used already, just go to view your blog and select design at the top right. then click on your name which appears at the top right in black ink (if you hover over it with your mouse it will say profile). Once you have clicked on your name, then click on account settings which will appear right under your name. A new screen will pop up and on the far right will say accounts, click on products, then click on picassa web albums. your picassa account will then pop up. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and it will tell you how much % of room you have used.
