Night Owls

For this card I've used papers from Landstoken Paperdesign - on with spots and one with stripes.
The owls - made with a Stampingbella rubber stamp called "Branching out owlies" - have been  colored with Promarkers.
The moon stamp is from Magnolia. I stamped directly on the DP, then I used a white gel pen to color the clouds white.
The owls have been mounted to a tree branch, made with a Memory Box die. The branch is heat embossed using a bronze colored ultra thick embossing enamel from Suze Weinberg.
The sentiment is a rub on. I've also used are 6 pearls.

This card is for these challenges:
1) A Gem of a Challenge - #58 Polka Dots/Spots
2) Card Crafter's Circle - #47 Patterned Paper
3) Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - #25 Stripes
4) Delicious Doodles - #9 Embossing

  28. Hi Pia, you asked me about CD's - if I were to recommend one that has images for both male and female it would have to be Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection Part 2, Joanna Sheen does not stock it in her shop any more but I'm sure you can pick up a copy on Ebay or just google it and I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. It has a selection of wildlife images and papers that includes birds, domestic animals as well as wild animals and I always reach for mine if I want to make a card for a man.

If you are going to start using CD's I would recommend any of Joanna Sheen's CD's just have a look at her website http://www.joannasheen.co.uk/ there is a section there were you can look inside the CD's and there is also a gallery of cards using her CD's.
    I hope this helps.
