Explore your wild side!


This card looks nothing like I had envisioned! In my mind the chevron embossed paper would look elegant cut and panelled onto squares. Instead I think it ended up looking like tire tracks -lol. So I had to improvise - goodbye flowers and butterflies, and hello to another male design.
I  ended up inking up a car stamp from Kort & Godt for the first time.  I chose a sentiment from a set from Whimsy stamps. The stars are from the same WS set and they're there for a reason - to cover up the joints of a paper strip, since I felt the black panel was made to narrow at the top. This card is a great example of how things might not go as planned, mistakes have to be hidden, but these bits of paper still turned into a card - one has to be flexible sometimes:)

    It may not have been what you intended Pia but you've ended up with an amazing masculine card so it all worked out perfectly! I love the distressed edges of your sentiment panel, it adds fab texture!
