One Layer Card with Santa

Over at  The Outlawz Twisted Thursday we have a new Anything Goes challenge for you, this time with the optional twist of One Layer. A lucky randomly drawn winner will get to choose images from our December sponsor, Stitchy Bear.
I've used the grumpy Santa again - you can find the image here. I printed the image onto a kraft base. I masked my Santa before I sprayed the background with white glimmer mist. I didn't color the image, just added a paper pieced beard and some glitter to the fur trims of his hat. I used a snow pen for the ground and stamped some snowflakes, heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also added a doodled frame using a black pen.

This card is also for these challenges:
1) Crafty Boots - Snow and Sparkles
2) Christmas Card Challenges - #4 Make it Masculine
3) Here Come the Boys - #66 Anything Goes
4) Make it Monday - Anything Goes

  1. I love that you haven't added colour to this but used different materials and textures for the white. Really effective.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season and I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful creations in 2014. Marina
