Paper Pieced Bestie in Winter Landscape

It's Thursday and over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday this week's optional twist is paper piecing, my favorite technique! Our January sponsors are My Besties by Sherri Baldy and Paper Temptress,
and all you need to do is enter a project to be included in the draw!

I paper pieced the girl's dress with a paper that came fee with a magazine. I made her a winter lansdcape using tree dies from Marianne and reindeer dies from Memory Box. I also used dies to make the sentiment. I used a stamp from LOTV and placed it onto currugated paper. The chevron DP is heat embossed with white, I used a snowflake stamp from Fiskars that I receieved for Christmas.

This card is for these challenges:
1) Kaboodle Doodles - Winter Wonderland
2) Cuttin & Stampin Challenges - #14-2 Anything Goes With Winter
3) Everybody-Art-Challenge - #261 Snow
4) Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Extra - Anything Christmas
5) Make it Monday - Anything Goes

  20. I love the way you have made a scene with all the diecuts.
I am wanting to try this technique and finally got some tree stamps and now looking for a couple of tree dies...I will use you for inspirement!

This is a fabulous card...so many great idea here too. I have the chevron paper you used and have not used it as I always think it looks too stark...what a wonderful idea to stamp the snowflakes onto it...suddenly it is just right!

    Fabulous card Pia!
