Over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday this week's optional twist is to use your favorite colors at Christmas time. I love red and and white, lots og glitter, gold and silver, and I used them all on my card.
I've used an image found in store over at Stitchy Bear Designs (Floppy Latte's "Bird and Bauble Ornaments") - our sponsor for November.
The image is colored with Promakers, gold and silver gel roll pens and I used lots of glitter glue as well. For the branches I used a MS punch and glitter paper. I'm not sure about those, I've been thinking I should remove them or add more - or leave it as it is now... I think I'm going to ponder about this until the card is put in the letter box... Maybe you can help me by sharing your opinion?
I'd also like to enter this card in Without Words - Christmas Preparations challenge.
I think its just perfect as it is Pia. It may look top heavy if you add any more. Love the image. I get really cross when you put lots of glitter and sparkle on a card and the camera does not pick it up!

I think your card is beautiful just as it is Pia. The branches are a lovely festive touch. Pat K x
ReplyDeleteI love the card. The baubles are the best festive color and shine. The only suggestion I have would be to duplicate the top bow and raise it up over the first bow and add the greenery with the bow, if not, it's beautiful as is!!
ReplyDeleteYou know me Pia, always have an opinion! I love the green glitter and why not add a touch more, I think it is a fun addition to your card x
ReplyDeleteDelightful, Pia, love the image, super colouring as always hun, hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteIt looks fine... any more would be too much Pia! I probably wouldn't have put any on it at all but it looks really good! x
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Pia and I think it is just right as it is.

Oh Wow!!! this is SO gorgeous Pia… I love how this card sparkles… such a lovely image. I think the beautiful branch at the top is perfect. Because the bird is hanging down… the branch at the top balances it out… if you know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely evening!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and colors Pia..Loz
ReplyDeleteMy eye caught the title of this one when I was above and I had to give my two cents, cents you asked! I vote for none, Pia. I think that beautifully colored bird and beribboned bow is magnificent enough with just the red matting on the gold card base. But you know how I love CAS. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card. The branches look fine but I am with Darnell...it dies not need them.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fine but looks great without them too. Something about the image calls out CAS to me so that is why I say leave them off.
Hope you do not mind my opinion...you did ask!! teehee
It just right love the traditional image and you have brought it to life with your colouring,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us at Without Words this month, we do hope that you will try to come on over and join the fun next month too.
