... don't you agree? I think this is far more embellished than what I usually make. This is my DT card for Outlawz Twisted Thursday, we have the optional twist of "Magical Christmas" this week, and I've used an image from our sponsor, Anne's Digital Art.
I colored the image and die cut a window using a die from Marianne. I used kraft paper painted with white gesso. I also used that for the embossed brick wall, which is almost completely covered.
I used my poinsettia corner die from Memory Box as well as a poinsettia die from Marianne. I used scrap pieces of DP and some vellum with glitter.
I used lace to make the curtain. I didn't quite know what to do with the top right corner, but finally decided on making a bow and attched two stamped tags using LOTV stamps and a metal brad from my stash.
This card is also for these challenges:
1) Crafting for all Seasons - #91 Tis the Season
2) ABC Challenge - ‘Y is for Yuletide’
3) Try It On Tuesday - Christmas is Coming
4) Through the Purple Haze - All About Christmas
Well it might be more embellished than you're used to, but the scenery you've created here is just adorable! I love driving down the street and seeing people's decorations shining through the window (while husband is yelling, 'stop peeking into people's houses! hahaha) and that is definitely what this card reminds me of. LOVE this!!
