Today is the start of a new challenge over at Catch the Bug with a photo inspitation as theme:
This is my DT card featuring "Girl Cupcakes" colored with Promarkers. The image can be found here.
I made a square cards with lots of layers, using a DP with spots, corrugated cardboard and gold panels. The sentiment from Kaisercraft is heat embossed with gold EP on kraft. Flowers from Storyteller and lace from my stash.

Very nice!!! Love the corrugated paper and the beautiful kraft look in your papers and your flowers. i think I have those flowers too and just love them!
ReplyDeleteMy craft room is finally open to me 24 hours a day as my guest (in the suite) has gone home. The builder arrives in 2 seeks to put in a door and frame it. In the meantime, I can use the room as the suite stays empty for a month so we can get other remodelling done as well.
This is gorgeous Pia, I love the image and the beautiful soft colours. The lace and corrugated card give such wonderful textures.

ReplyDeleteAnd that is only about 2/3 of my stuff...I will post the other photos fairly soon. I had to use a really ugly dark finish wooden dresser and then added a cream hutch type top that does not match. A relative donated them to my room...again not anything I would put anywhere else in my house...but with a lick of white paint and some new silver knobs they will be fine.
But right now they look pretty scary!
I still need a trip to Ikea and also need to set up something for my computer/printer and cricut table. Nearly there!
