Over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday this week's optional twist is to make an "Easel card". I've used an image from Stitchy Bear Designs - our Sponsor for February.
I colored the image using Promarkers. I don't use green very often, but with the longing for spring and to create an outdoor's scene I think it was required.
I created a scene by adding die cut leaves and rolled flowers using Memory Box dies and a fence created with a Marianne die. The flowers are decorated with a rhinestone and some glitter glue. I also added glitter glue to the butterfly's wings.
The sentiment ie heat embossed with blacp EP and I decoarted it with one wooden butterfly button.
This card is also for these challenges:
1) Ooh La La Creations - Add Something Green
2) Inky Impressions - #197 Cute and Cuddly
3) Die Cuttin' Divas - #203 Odd Card
This is just so super cute Pia. Loving those rolled flowers and leaves and the red and green is so fresh.

I love the green... and this spring-like easel card is so sweet and fresh! Your rolled flowers are very pretty and the glitter in the center around the rhinestone gives them a beautiful touch! You used a very beautiful die for the branches! Love your cute bear colouring and the glittered wings of the butterfly!! You have given a stunning 3D effect to the scene with the fences and with the wooden butterfly on the first plane, great work!

Your pretty easel card does bring a welcome breath of spring. Love this cute little bear and your rolled roses are so pretty! Very nice design detail to add the vines & little fence as you did. It's adorable! Glad that your bad cold is on the way out. Seems like everyone is coming down with this bug. Hopefully you'll soon be fit again, and able to get out & enjoy some nice sunshine. We've been fortunate that our very cold days have had sun, but we've also had some winds that make it feel even colder than it is! TFS & Happy wkend. Stay warm
ReplyDeleteHope this finds you feeling better Pia.
