Ava Mermaid

Happy Staurday! We are enjoying some really nice weather in Oslo today, it's not going to last, so will try and enjoy the day! And tonight's plans are to be in the front of the TV, it's the Eurovision Finale and Norway has qualified.
Over at Catch the Bug we have a new challenge for you and this week it's a COLOR challenge. Join us in the fun and be in the chance of winning images from the Bugaboo store.

I used an image called Ava Mermaid and the little fish is from the Mini Set - AKV Under the sea. I used Promarkers, gel pens and glitter glue to color my images. The cardbase is a dark blue and the background DP as well, although they look black in the photo. I've used my stiched dies from Dienamics again, the oval and border, as well as the banner with birthday greeting. The bubbles and leaves are made with Memory Box dies. I've also used a Martha Stewart punch.

    Great card Pia really girly without the pink too, love your embellishments the bubbles are perfect for your underwater scene.

    This little mermaid is very cute and you have created her a beautiful scene! These bubbles and the waves of the patterned paper are really a perfect choice, also the fishes and the plants look so pretty together the ambience. Love the stiched frame, it's absolutely one of my preferred frames:love all these little holes around a border, they give always a touch of elegance!

    Just saw another mermaid card, and this is yet another very fetching image. Like the way you've colored her tail & clothing in the soft blues of the sea. Looks like you did some stunning work with the gel pen on this too. Loved the pierced oval and the bubbles die worked perfectly on this one. The b&w pattern looks great with the soft blues and also like the way you've tucked the sea foliage over that pretty scallop border at the bottom. Glad you had some nice weather to enjoy.     Hi Pia, I watched Eurovision and A Monster Like Me (Norway) was my favourite entry! It did MUCH better than our UK entry too.

    Great mermaid card - the die cut bubbles are great. I really admire that you always find the perfect embellishments!

    We are having a run of 30 degree Celsius weather too. Had a little interruption with a couple of stormy, rainy days, but back to the 30's again. A good time of year for beach themed cards...lol
