CASEing Monika

Monika of Creative with Monika invited me to join a personal challenge, where she CASEs one of my cards of her choice and I one of hers. Monika uses lots of stencils and stamps to make her own papers. She makes many masculine cards and her feminine ones often include shoes. So I chose to case this card as I absolutely loved how she used her Prima girl stamp. So I took out my own doll stamp and got to work. I used a piece of scrap to paper piece her dress, colored the legs. And the stripes on Monika's card gave me the idea of adding a strip of vellum onto which I heat embossed the sentiment with gold EP. A very quick and easy card with no embellies.

    Yaayy Pia...As I told you..you are a queen of black n white card and this plus gold wohooo...ADORE ABLE and perfect CASE ing my card...luv how you change the stripes with gold emboss on vellum..clever lady...should we do again sweety..it was really fun CASE ing your card..

    Oh Wow Pia!! this is SO gorgeous… it really is a great way to use the Prima girl stamp… looks really cool. I like your paper pieced dress and the vellum strip with the embossed sentiment is genius… this is a very clever design… I love it !!!

    Gorgeous and feminine card! Good example that you don't need so many layers of embellishments and flowers to create fabulous and pretty card.
