You're sew special

I saw the Muse card today and have already finished my version of it - being a slow cardmaker this is something that rarely happens to me, so I'm quite proud. And I think I might make even more using Michele Ferguson's wonderful card as inspiration.

I was inspired by the layout, white embossed background, vellum and silver detailing.
I wanted to use my neglected buttons embossing folder and my Spellbinders dressmaker die, and I knew I had some sewing themed sentiments in my stash, a freebie set from some time (years?) back. I heat embossed with silver EP onto vellum, added some pearls for the  necklace and some sequins for added sparkle.

    love all the white Pia it makes the die cut really pop, sentiment is perfect for the card. Pia I used a free art greeting from TLC and reversed the colours in my graphic programme adding the background in a colour of my choice.You used a TLC sentiment on your card 27/04 in my programme the red becomes blue when I apply the negative effect and the black white

    Absolutely stunning CASE of Michele's card. What a great idea to go with the sewing theme and the vellum just adds to the CAS take. I have a few ideas for this also and hoping I have time to play! I am just loving your cards x

    Perfect EF for the dressmakers mannequin. This would make a delightful card for a sewer, and love the entire design, including the pretty sparkle of the sequins! TFS & Hugs too.

    My mom was a wonderful seamstress and looking at your card with its perfect sewing embellies - just brings me a happy sigh. The vellum strip for the sentiment is a sweet sweet touch.

    Pia the add of tiny pearl is clever
    and this again black and white card and can be a winner card again
    your both kitty card was winner on some challenge I forgot but its choosen at Sunday Stamps
