Birthday Rose

I'm here to share my DT card for the new "Stella Says Sketch" challenge over at Catch the Bug..

I used one of Jodie's beautiful flower images, you can find a big selection in the Bugaboo store. I colored the image with Promarkers and cut it using stitched oval dies from Dienamics. The scallopped stitched borders are also from Dienamics. All papers are from Maja Design. Instead of adding a stamped sentiment I attached a metal charm with a birthday greeting to a bow made of seambinding ribbon.

    Amazing the style of that rose. That is talent to be able to draw like that and I love how you framed it and showcased it on this card. The Kraft with the stripes are wonderful together! Also wanted to tell you that I loooooved your dream catcher cards...gorgeous!!!

    I love the colors and romantic- vintage feel of this card. I used to make a lot of cards this style... you've inspired me... maybe I'll try one today :)

    I love the stitched oval you have and jealous
    I bought Oval DIES but was not thinking to save a bit and buy a stitched one
    now I cant sell it more and stay in my drawer arrgghhhh
