Shaker card for a birthday girl

There's a new challenge over at  Outlawz Twisted Thursday,  and this week's optional twist is to make a birthday project. I've used an image from Stitchy Bear Designs - our Sponsor for October.

This is my third pink project within a week. I'm not that crazy about pink really, but I'm obviously going through a pink phase. The sweet girl is holding a birthday cake, so I added a birthday greeting and pink sequins for the shaker part and die cut balloons using a die from Poppy to add to the party feel. I die cut a frame og kraft paper, added a piece of lace and attached the panel to brown card stock.

    I'm glade that you are in a your pink fase... I love pink! :D All your three last card are very sweet and feminine, and also very girly. This one has a fabulous party look, with the shaker frame and the balloons! The little girl is just a cutie with her plumper face and the chubby legs! I love it!!
    The lace matches very well with the pants and the kraft cardstock makes the card elegant and not mawkish. Love your make!

    Pia, That is so unreal for you because you are not a pink person, you are into neutral colors but this is nice. Love the shaker card and the sequins makes it a fun card.

    She's cheeky, she's cute, she's absolutely adorable! The kraft frame is perfect for taming the pink and the white heart balloons is a welcome distraction from the pink. I'm not crazy about pink either but this card works for me.

    You make such fabulous shakers - they always seem to have some kind of twist and they are beautifully made.(Your Eiffel Tower and cats one sticks in the memory). This one is no exception and I love the balloon embellishments.
