I used a white paper with texture, masked off a square area and sponged away using shaded lilac DI - love the color as it's not too purple and not too blue.
I removed the tape and stamped a flower image using an uninked stamp from Fiskars, heat set and colored it it in using some blue, purple and green ink pads and a brush.
I used my favorite sentiment stamp - love it because it's decorative and perfect for almost any occasion, then added the finished panel on foam onto the card base.

The texture paper is _so_ wonderful with your design, and the DI ink sponged so beautifully, very delicate shading too. Love the sweet floral image, and you're right: the sentiment is just perfect, and so versatile for many occasions. A truly lovely & elegant card...very serene in the feel of it.
