Recipe and funny - Christmas in July - Day 5

Today is the fifth day of the fun Christmas in July event over at Catch the Bug. One week, 7 challenges, different prizes are up for grab for those who enter one or all the challenges - you can read more about it here.

Today we want to see funny creations following the recipe of use scallops, bling and layers.
My choice was a Stella image. I had different plans for this card, so the image was printed on watercolor paper but I ended up using Promarkers, keeping to red, white and metallic colors. I used a Dienamics scallop border die, lace and ribbon from my stash, a metal decoration (from Mervi I believe) and some sequins and bling.

    Stella always so funny..and great colored her in red..I love your scallop and your lace..great layout my friend...I am having less idea for day 6 tomorrow...help me Pia...
    I dont know which Image from Bugaboo that in the beach...only Santa at the beach and its already used today at my card oh I feel bad cardmaker LOL...i have no mojo Pia :((

    Stella always makes me smile, and she looks so festive in her red Santa outfit. Love the background bold embossing design, and the matting layers. The lace scallops add another layer of your scallop design which looks lovely. I love the color combo with the taupe, red and white...and tucking on the taupe (or perhaps it's a gold?) snowflake on the white ribbon bow, perfect trims. TFS & Hugs
