Card Kit Swap with Nonni and Marina - take #3

I'm doing a "Card Kit Swap" with Nonni of Nonni's Handmade Cards and Marina of My Perfect Life. We're supposed to make 4 cards out of the kit and we can add some of our own stash too as we're keeping it really simple and fun. It was my turn to make a kit and I chose elements of "Feathers & Wings". My kit contained two die cut feathers, a dream catcher, a fairy and a stamped image of two birds. 1 DP from Marianne, 1 unknown with script, one white whith engraved flower pattern, silver mirri card and a heat embossed piece of vellum with script. Sequins, pearls and bling, gold metal thread, silver thread and white string.
Here's a photo of the kit:

Card#1: Feathers
Here I used the embossed vellum, feathers and white string. I colored the feathers with gelatos. I added a sentiment "For You" and sequins. Stitching around the edges.
This card is for: Creative Knockouts - #154 Sew It Up

Card#2: Fairy
Here I used the engraved floral paper, mounted onto the silver mirri card, the fairy, sequins and gold metal thread. I heat embossed the fairy with gold EP and frantage. The sentiment translates something like "Frinds are as valuable as gold".
This card is for: Glitter n Sparkle - #201 Anything Goes

Card#3: Dream Catcher
Here I used the grey paper with script, the dream cather a pearl and a bling. The dream catcher is heat embossed with silver.
This card is for: Brown Sugar - #211 Anything Goes

Card#4:Love Birds
The image was embossed with clear EP then colored with Promarkers. I also used the silver thread and DP from my kit, as well as a die cut swirl, lace and flowers from my stash.
This card is for: Passion For Promarkers Challenge - #358 Hip To Be Square

  1. What a lovely collection of cards, Pia. The feather card is simple, feathery light and airy. Heat embossing the fairy for your second card is a great idea. She looks magical. The dreamcatcher card is super classy... not too ethnic and will work for all occasions. The lovebirds are adorable. The roses and lace trim fit in perfectly. I simply cannot decide on a favourite! :)

  3. Wow Pia I love all of these and it's so fun how different our cards turn out every time! Very hard to choose a favorite but maybe it's the dream catcher-card: I just LOVE this die, so beautiful! Your card with the cute birdies is so well made, all those flowers and the lace really make the card, very beautifully done. Your both two first cards are so dreamy and pretty and so well embellished! I wish I could use sewing machine. :) Thank you for these wonderful materials, I had so much fun! xxx

  4. This is so super fun Pia!! I love this idea of receiving a kit in the mail, but what's more fun is that it's from your blog buddy!! :) This image is super cute and you've made some really knock out designs with the entire kit!! The feather's are just gorgeous and I love the script vellum piece behind it! The fairy is stunning with the embossing and metallic thread! The dream catcher turned out gorgeous as well as the darling birds with the lace and flowers!! Wonderful job on all of them Pia! HUGS

  5. You have been so busy, but such fabulos results you have had!! Love all the four card, they have the "watermark" of your classy style! :D I have a favourite, the first one!! Soooo airy, delicate and elegant! These feathers look just amazing with these colours, that you have already used in another card that I loved! Tthe embossed vellum is a fabulous background for them!
The fairy in the second card is a catch-eyes with the few sequins and the metal thread, really striking! Love very much the contrast by the white oval and the blue-grey background, and the dreamcatcher that pop out beautifully in the third make.
The last one card make me smile with its sweetness, these birds in love are adorable and the lace, the flowers and the papers compliment them so well!

  9. Your cards look awesome, Pia! These kits must be so much fun, first of all to receive, secondly to make cards with them, and thirdly, to see the cards your friends have made! The kit you put together for your friends has so many gorgeous elements and I love what you've done with them! I think my favourite is the fairy. The gold embossing and Frantage makes the fairy really pop on the card, and I love the sequins and stars! The other cards are gorgeous too! Well done!

card3- This card looks really strokeable! Lots of interest and a restrained colour palette that could work for a man or a woman.
