Birthday bear and balloon

This week's challenge over at Catch the Bug is a photo inspiration:

I was inspred by the flowers and their colors. I colored the image with DIs and added glossy accent to the balloon. The flowers are punched, I used a black pen to make the faux stitching on the petals and attahed brown enamel dots in the centres. I stamped a birthday greeting and machine stitched around the edges.

    LOL! Beyond cute is this adorable image! LOVE IT! Your take on the inspiration photo is fabulous, Pia! Such happiness, and laughter galore, with this little guy. However, I must say that it also reminds me of Harry Potter's aunt who blows up like a balloon and ends up in the sky bobbing around like an unpopped helium balloon! LOL

    The stitching adds to your darling factor on this sweetie!

    and love the flowers there at the bottom
    I guess if it is a puncher I have it yeah
    So cute and sweet little teddy card Pia
    and I was so busy cooking biking with kids and hubby and ironing then I learn new song at my Piano if you want to know the song is Sadness and Sorrow by Naruto it is a romantic a bit sad song I love it and I learn since 19:00-22:00 I think I can play the first part

    What a cutie! I would have not throught to add the faux-stitching to the petals... or to add enamel dots to the centers for that matter! I'm gonna go play catch-up now. It has been a very busy 3 weeks... and it ain't over. My MIL had a stroke yesterday, and while she is my neighbor, this happened while she was visiting three hours away! It's been a whirlwind 30+hours on top of a busy few weeks... I need a craft-cation for therapeutic purposes! XO
