Snowman - New release

This is a scheduled post to show you one of the new images you can find in the Bugaboo store today.

I colored the image with Promarkers in shades of grey.

I wanted to use some of my more neglected dies, here are two shapes which I combined together to make a frame. I always admire Donna's (Creative Smiles) ability to use her dies in so many creative ways. I know I didn't do a revolutionary thing here with my dies, but I was inspired by Donna's work when making this silver frame and wanted to share that with you.

I added a doily underneath it and attached it all to a fully covered card front with a DP from Bo Bunny.

A piece of ribbon and string for the metal charm with the Christmas sentiment and a die cut snowflake in the opposite corner.

  7. Whoa! I love that amazing sparkly, silvery, winter-festival-feel in your delightful card, Pia! The BoBunny background is amazing, and the use of your die cuts is gorgeous! The background colors remind me of a snowy dark night in the northern countries during winter - silvery, yet darkest blue! Love your little ribbon doo-dad in the corner. What a surprise to see my name in your post! Thank you, Pia, for the "shout out" - I appreciate it! An unexpected blessing today, especially since I'm always smitten by your artwork! Thank you! hugs, de

  15. I think I recognise this Bo Bunny PP- I have very little of the 6 x 6 pad left ( I think it is the one with wooden ski's...?) Anyway, this is fabulously frosty.

  20. Hope you are enjoying your blog free holiday. I think we all need to have a little 'blog & card free time' - I've enjoyed mine. Even though some of it was due to health issues, it still is good to not have it become a 'chore', but rather something I enjoy. Only problem is Mo-Jo goes on holiday too! I love this cute Snowy, and the silver scroll frame adds to the iciness of the scene. Also like the navy & silver design pattern behind his frosty self. It's a lovely Christmas card, with the silver snowflake embellie. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. TFS & have a great upcoming week. Hugs

  25. Way to go, using the dies to create a frame... I have never thought to do that! Talk about doubling your stash! This is very "Pia" to me... I'd be able to spot it in a large group! Such a well-balanced card with just the right accents (twine + ribbon, bold purple background, great image!)
