We are celebrating the 7th birthday of Bugaboo over at Catch the Bug with daily "Under the Sea" challenges over at Catch the Bug. For day 6 we have a really easy one - or so I think - make a card for a child.
I used a shark image from Mini Set - AKV Under the sea as I know two of my youngest nephews are quite fascinated by these creatures. To be honest I'm too, and I'm no youngster.
Sharks resized and repositioned, colored with Promarkers.
DIs used for the background, along with my Memory Box waves stencil and splashes of water. Different stamps used to make the sea bed and a Promarker to make the sandy bottom. A birthday greeting in Norwegian was stamped too.
This card is also for:
Through the Purple Haze - #116 Happy Anything
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - #333 Always Anything Goes
Such a beautiful project.
ReplyDeleteThis will also be perfect for one entry as an anything goes creation for our challenge below.

One fabulous water background with bubbles, beautiful card indeed;-))m
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Turned out so well! I zoomed in-- did you mask the sharks or print them separately? Well, they look great, and so does the background with the water-flicks. Creative sea floor!
ReplyDeleteGirl, sharks are neat, indeed but they terrify me!
Such a fabulous background, Pia! Beautiful "highlights" around the sharks, and really great "bubbles" to bring more life to your project. Love the stamped foliage, too. Thank you for the tips about the background! huggers, de
