I was inspired by the skier and went with AKV snowman - ski and colors and DP for a masculine look.
I cut out a mask for the slope and sponged the blue sky, added water and a bit of frantage. A Christmas sentiment was used and I stitched along the edges.

Oh Wow! I love this card Pia. The sky background looks awesome with the frontage snow! I love the stitching and it looks so good with the gingham. He’s a very cute skiing snowman! sure made me smile! :-)

So cute card, Pia, and I think it's perfect for masculine but also for feminine recipients. Love the blue sky near the black&white dp, such a great effect, and your stitching adds a lot of interest to the whole design!

ReplyDeleteSuper look for your inspiration. This Snowie looks so cute skiing down that hilly slope, with the scarf flying out behind him. I love the b&w check paper mat, and of course your stitching always finishes off things so well. Also like the frontage snow effect too! TFS & Hugs

What a great card! My little grandson would love this one. He is a skier and they just came back from a ski trip where they rented a house and shared it with another family...friends of my daughters abnd friends of the grandkids from school
