Gold fish

Today is "Oldie but Goodie" day over at Catch the Bug and I've made a card with an image from the underwater set from Bugabo.

My nephew, Noah, turns 10, he has an aquarium and is really into this, so I made an aquarium inspired card for his birthday.
I added two fish colored with Promarkers and a DI sponged  background, added sequins and bobbles made with a Memory Box die.
I used dies from Dinemics to make the shaker frame and added cheesecloth underneath along with some green ribbon.
The card is cut with die from Kort&Godt.

This card is also for:
Allsorts - Happy Birthday
The Male Room - #61 Die Cuts
Crafty Creations - #341Anything Goes

  1. CUTE! Your underwater scene is lovely with the blue shaker background and the sandy shapes surrounding shaker elements. The dotted paper is a darling touch, and beautifully done! LOVE EVERYTHING about your birthday card, Pia. Your nephew will be delighted as well! hugs, de

  2. Love shaker cards and this one is fab. You asked about the embossing on one of my cards. The paper was pre printed and I stamped onto it with an open design background stamp. Then heat embossed with clear powder. It acts as a resist layer and stops ink reaching the paper to show the back ground stamp once you use sponges to add ink to the remainder of the design. Zx
