This is my favorite ADFD digi. I remember how I loved picking flowers for my mum when I was a child, she always seemed so surprised and happy when I brought her my hand picked flowers. Now that I'm older I can undeerstand why.
I had this image in my stash, all colored up with Promarkers earlier this year, and now I found it ready to be cut to shape and glued onto a card.
I chose a purple paper with shimmer effect, dry embossed the bottom part using a freebie embossing folder. I cut a circle, used a blue DI to sponge the centre and added a sentiment in Norwegian that wotks for an congratulations occasion or birthday. Flowers from my stash.

City Crafter Challenge - #368 - Let's Go Outside and Play (flower picking)
Allsorts - Flower Power

Fluttering butterflies
I made this card being inspired by the LIM sketch as well as the colors of the Inkspirational photo.
I don't use butterflies much on my cards, for a reason unknown even to me, but I have this stamp from Nemory Box I really like.
I started by heat embossing the image, masking off areas using my own made stencil, then I used two blue DIs and blue brusho. I added WOS to the butterflies and colored the smallest ones with a white gel pen. 3 sequins were added for a little bit of shine.

Boy and Dog
Today starts a new challenge over at Catch the Bug and
this week it's time for a photo challenge.
I was inspired by the licking dog but chose a boy character instead of a girl - you can find the image here.
The image is colored with Promarkers and I stenciled a wall for them to sit on. Papers are from my scrap box (one of many, lol).
I added a few staples and a button with twine.
This card is also for:
Cardz 4 Guyz - #172 Stars
City Crafter Challenge - #367 Hashtag
Passion For Promarkers Challenge - #400 Sketch

Bingo and Stella
Today starts a new challenge over at Catch the Bug and
this week it's BINGO TIME!
I used the row of button, Bugaboo image and sentiment. And for my card I chose the hilarious Stella August Passport with a sentiment I find to be so fitting.
Lots of circles here, and I also included a wine glass charm. I scored the DP for the background. The bright pink paper was a gift from Mimi, thanks!

Birthday fish and lots of designer papers
Today is "Oldie but Goodie" day over at Catch the Bug and I've made a card with an image called Make it Snapppy Birthday Fishes.
I fussy cut the fish and bubbles and layered the parts onto a die cut circle panel.
The fish is colored with Promarkers and I added glitter glue to the bubbles.
Plenty of patterns here that I felt could pass for bubbles and sea weed.

Groom & Groom
I was asked to make a wedding card for a groom and groom, and this is what I came up with.
I decided on a top hat stamp as main element, stamped onto a brownish paper with structure and fussy cut. Then I added some die cut hearts (using Memory Box dies) and made a shaker card with heart sequins in silver and red. The frame (made with a Dienamics die) is glitter paper. The background inside the shaker is heat embossed vellum and I used a leftover piece of DP with tartan pattern, mounted onto a piece of burlap paper. I added a stamped greeting and a single flower.
I'm off for a week's holiday in the sun (or so I hope). I'm not going to be much around this week but I've got a couple of DT posts scheduled.
This card is for:
The Male Room - #62 Off the Edge
Come and Get It - Weddings
Allsorts - #419 Use at least 2 dies
Fab 'n' Funky - #354 Marvelous Men

Window and House
I'm in Christmas making mode. And that is a good thing, because I'm behind on my schedule of making 4-5 cards a month.
So there were two words that inspired by and led to this design - window and house.
I had a clean-up in my craft room, and I sorted all the already printed and colored images and die cut elements, and the house and branches were all read to be used.
The house was stamped on kraft, colored with a gel pen, and there's a stamped fence in there as well, hidden in between my die cut hills. The branches were treated with gesso and glitter. Then I die cut a window with a die from Marianne and a lamp post with a Memory Box one. I added embossing powder to the lamp post. I decided to go for a shaker design, adding two different glitters and some sequins.

Neopolitan
Neopolitan is this week's challenge over at LIM. It's the ice cream I know as 'tricolor', yummy and perfect when you can't decide on just one flavor. I used two cupcake stamps, colored them in pink and brown, added a bit of glitter and some pearls. I used pink DI and a Tim holtz stencil on a cream colored paper, much the color of vanilla ice cream. And I stamped a birthday greeting. I've come to love doing color challenges. I used to find them too tricky, they still are challenging, but the hardest part is to settle on what stamps to use, then it gets easier. I rummage through all my stamps before I settle on one, it's a good reminder to see what I already have in my stash, and it's extra fun whenever I get to use a NBUS one.

I finally made a tag...
Today it's my turn to show you an 'Anything but a card' project over at Catch the Bug.
I've made a tag with Teddy Christmas Stocking, colored him up with Promarkers and a white gel pen, and I used loose glitter for all the fur trimmings.
The tree is cut with a die that came free with a magazine. I used die cut ovals as my tag base. I'm not really into making tags but my goal is to make all tags for this year's pressies. Ok, we'll see about that, but at least everyone should have one present with an own made tag. In any case, at least the children, lol.
I'd like to enter my tag in these challenges as well:
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas - Anything Christmas Goes
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Extra - Always Anything Christmas Goes
Polkadoodles - #22 Anything Goes

12 legs
Color Throwdown wants us to use blue, soft pink, gold and white for this week's challenge, and those are the only colors I used.
I was thinking of using flowers or something nautical, then went with a Christmas theme instead.
Pink sky, blue stamped trees (Hero Arts) and blue panel (it may appear to be black in this photo, but it's a dark blue), gold deer made with a Memory box die), white for the stitched die cut hills and stamped sentiment, I also added a die cut Merry sprinkled with frantage in white and gold.
For sparkle I used Perfect Pearls on the pink sky and some stickles to the trees. Nice IRL, but not very visible here.
This card is for:
Color Throwdown - #445
Allsorts - Christmas in June
Sparkles Forum Challenges - #92 Four or more legs

Card made with gifts
It's been a while since I last made a vintage card. This one was made using several gifts.
From Mimi I got the harlequin patterned paper which I cut out two pieces of with my Kort&Godt shaped dies. The tag and the die cut leaf, which I stamped, was also from Mimi.
The powder pink lace I received from Mervi. The label for the sentiment I cut with a die from a set I won from Brenda on a previous challenge over at Allsorts.
The lady image was a gift from my mom, I think. I don't remember where I got the doily, it was fairly big, perfect for the size of my design.
The rose ribbon I bought on a trip abroad, cheesecloth and flowers from my stash.
