Groom & Groom

I was asked to make a wedding card for a groom and groom, and this is what I came up with.
I decided on a top hat stamp as main element, stamped onto a brownish paper with structure and fussy cut. Then I added some die cut hearts (using Memory Box dies) and made a shaker card with heart sequins in silver and red. The frame (made with a Dienamics die) is glitter paper. The background inside the shaker is heat embossed vellum and I used a leftover piece of DP with tartan pattern, mounted onto a piece of burlap paper. I added a stamped greeting and a single flower.
I'm off for a week's holiday in the sun (or so I hope). I'm not going to be much around this week but I've got a couple of DT posts scheduled.

    Beautiful! Same sex wedding cards are hard to make because there are still so few of them around but you've really nailed it, with the romance of a wedding card without it being too frilly and feminine

    The top hats and tartan make this card masculine whilst the flower and hearts add the romance, a very clever design.
