Today we have a new sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug and as soon as I saw it I was thinking of balloons, so on they went along with an image colored ages ago, called Cat Rat Birthday.
I don't typically use much green on my non-Christmas cards, but here there's a lot.

Very cute image and I love the green Pia..I spent my free time this weekend changing my craft room from one room to another..nearly killed myself 3 times with bookcases wanting to fall on me and re arranged tables etc 3 times..now I don't like it and want to come back into the living area., but no..I must be strong and stay there as the living area looks so nice now..lol..all for the sake of my new chair.

Love those greens tones and the dimension you gave to the balloons! The string and the embossed base give to the card a nice textures!!

Actually, now you mention it, you don't see a lot of cards with green as the main colour (although it does have a resurgence around St Patrick's Day). I wonder why we don't use more green, as it looks beautiful on this fun card.
