I don't usually make (m)any Valentine's or loved themed cards but I' going to make a few this year and send the off to Christina Hor for her "Cards for Little Hearts"
drive - you can read more about it here. I also made this card with 3 challenges in mind the are all mentioned below.
I made a one layer and used a stamp that came free with a magazine a few years ago. It hadn't seen ink yet, but now that I have a stamping platform it's so much easier to use stamps of any quality - I believed I inked this up 5 times.
The sentiment is put together with 3 stamps from different sets.
The colors are subtle also IRL, but even more so in the photo. I sponged and splattered a blue DI and used an orange and grey one and watercolored the image.
This card is for:

cute for sure and great soft colors
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that now you have a stamping platform, Pia!! Really having one makes the difference, I think it's really a must have, because any stamp works well with it (inking it all the times it's necessary...) ;)
ReplyDeleteAnother sweet and cute CAS, so delicate, and love your water colouring!!
A super card Pia, such a sweet bear - a stamping platform really does make so much difference doesn't it.

Adorable card Pia! Love the subtle colors...that bear is so sweet! I don't do much stamping, most of mine are digital, but maybe if I had a platform I'd stamp more...especially sentiments!

ReplyDeleteAdorable image on a really great OLC Pia. Gosh, you will really notice the difference now you have a stamping platform - I wouldn't be without mine! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteThis little fellow is adorable, Pia. You made him up into a fab card.
ReplyDeleteI read you used a stamping platform. Got a misti last year and really liked it for my acrylic stamps.
This year I got the Tim Holtz platform from my husband for Christmas. Have not used it yet, but am hoping it will take the larger sized cards that don't fit into my mini misti!
Aww I’ve a cute image similar to that Pia I must use it soon!
ReplyDeleteLovely card clever creating.
Thanks for sharing and for popping over too!
