Twofer Card Challenge - Card for a woman

Today I have two cards to share, but to make things a little easier I will make two separate posts, but you can see both cards in the smaller photo.

The February theme over at Twofer Card Challenge is hearts. I made one baby card (in the post here) and one for a female that can be used for Mother's Day or any other occasion. I used the same Memory Box stitched heart die on both cards.

On the feminine card I used the heart die to cut out a portion of the stamped and stencilled panel and placed it back on foam. Both the image and stencil are Tim Holtz. The sentiment is Penny Black. I was inspired by the colors of this week's Color Throwdown photo.

    This pretty feminine card and the adorable baby card on the prior post are fantastic, Pia! I love how your lovely lady is stamped on both the card base and the popped up heart and I love the sweet floral accents! Your baby boy card just couldn't be any cuter with the blue stuffie and patterned and embossed hearts! Great idea to have your matting match the patterned heart!     Wonderful take on the Twofer challenge, Pia... I love the die cutting techniques you used, very creative! That soft stenciled design in your feminine card is STUNNING, so, so beautiful!
