hero, dress, lady

This card came together quickly as no stamping and coloring were involved and I had already cut out this lady from a sheet with many retro and vintage style ladies.
The sentiment is cut from a DP with different sentiments, but I thought this one has something ‘womanly hero like’ about it and I also thought with today being the International Women’s day it would be suitable for this card.
The lamp post is cut with a Memory Box die and the star stencil is also from them.
Isn’t the lady’s dress amazing? It has a cut that would make me look gigantic, but I so love this feminine style from past times.

This card is for:
City Crafter Challenge - #402 Be Your Own HERO
Shopping Our Stash - #344 National Dress Day
Allsorts - #457 Ladies Only

  15. Hi Pia! Yay, I love it when you come to Shopping Our Stash! This card is ab-fab... I love the dress. I would totally wear it! (Well, I would like to think I would "totally wear it," but I am truly a jeans-and-t-shirt kinda gal... haha), but I do love the style. Your eye for balance is eternally perfect. Good to see you. BTW, I recently saw a dress that was Queen Maud of Norway's, and I thought of you :)
