Die cut cacti

I’ve been looking for cacti stamps, have found none,  so I was delighted when I came across this cacti die set from Marianne. I cut the parts and used my promarkers to color all the bits and pieces.
I used a MFT stitched frame die and kept the cut in the die while adding green DOx.
Then I used my script stamp and randomly added grey ink. A bit of splatter, 2 stamps used to make the birthday sentiment and my card was ready.

This card is for:
Happy Little Stamper - July Anything Goes with Dies
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Creative Knockouts - #256 Sew It Up

  1. Wow Pia, your script stamp used randomly is really versatile and useful, especially mixed with some ink!! Love so much the effect, it seems a branded DP :D Fabulous work with the cactus, you have had a lot of patience colouring and putting together all the tiny pieces, but the result is fabulous!Love the elegant stitched frame too!

  19. Great card, Pia. I just picked up some cactus stamps and dies...even some stickers. I am going to make a set of cards for the lady who donated her house and pool for our use while in Arizona. She even couriered us the card keys!

    Your cactus look quite real

  20. Very cute. Love your background. I wonder if you've had success looking for a cactus stamp. I have one set from Stampabilities (I think) that has two stamps on it, but I still would like better ones-- there's got to be a good set out there! Maybe I'll carve us some 😄
