In the ocean

It's Thursday and Oldie but Goodie day over at Catch the Bug.
It's very hot and I envy this little monkey his dip in the ocean.
I made a pocket of vellum to make the water and stitched it closed after adding a few fish and starfish sequins. I ct the image in two to pop the upper part on foam on the water surface.

This card is also for:

  1. You are a genius, Pia!! The way you made the water adding fishes and starfishes is so clever, as well the two parts of the monkey's body to give him the appearance of a part underwater!!! And I have to say that your stitching looks just PERFECT! It's really a cute and fun card!! I would pin it, but Pinterst today isn't working for me, I don't know why :(
