Bird

I've made another Christmas card, this time using no stamps.
The bird image is cut out from a DP and I placed it in top of a leftover piece from a Tim Holtz DP.
I like using kraft paper and for the background I gave it a whitewash with gesso and I used a striped embossing folder.
Die cut greeneries, string and a fabric sentiment sticthed in place.

  13. A fabric sentiment? That's new to me. I love the stiching - for some reason I can't get my sewing machine to do zig-zag. This is a beautiful, timeless, Christmas card. Thanks for joining The Library.

  15. You know the last few years I specifically only buy Christmas paper that I can cut out images for cards :-) Sometimes, they are just perfect to make a card or two or sometimes even to mass produce. Love how you adorned your card to show off your sweet bird.
    Have a wonderful day.
    Hugs,
    Lena
