Gift card holder with penguin

Monday is ‘anything but a card’ inspiration day over at Catch the Bug. Last Christmas I realized a few gift card holders would have come in handy, so this year I’ll be sure to make some.

So, my first one is ready. Here I’ve used some papers that have been in my stash for ages, I believe they are from Bo Bunny.  I colored up a penguin and added glitter glue for snow.
I added the gift tag with twine. This way the gift card holder could easily be regifted to someone else, if the person receiving this decide to do so. In my family I see we reuse gift bags from year to year, I think it’s a beautiful little tradition of ours, and environment friendly too.

    I too think it's a beautiful tradition, such bad thing trash handmade wonderful items! Love the blue beautiful papers and the design of this gift card holder!! The topper with the twine and tiny tag look so cute!
