Today I'm honored to be invited as a Guest Elf over at Jo's Christmas Kickstart Challenge. The challenge theme is "Starry, Starry Night".
Here is my card:
I love making Christmas cards as well as masculine ones, so I tried to combine the two.
For the background I used a stamp from Concord&9th, I stamped it with Altenew inks in three different shades of blue. On top I used a Memory Box star stencil and gold Nuvo expanding mousse.
Thet die cut geometric deer is from Marianne. The sentiment is a combinatoin of dies from Tim Holtz and Concord&9th.
This card is also for:
Cut It Up - #204 Create your own background paperAud Sentiments Challenge - #255 Christmas In July + A Sentiment
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge - #75 Anything Christmas Goes
Another really gorgeous bit of artwork Pia. It certainly will be great for both Male or Female.

Very effective Pia - those stars and using expanding mousse works well - and the deer is highlighted by the background stripes. Thank you for joining us at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge xx Lynda DT

Very artistry! Love the idea of that modern background to make the diecut pop!
ReplyDeleteThat background is really effective! It looks like a starry sky with maybe a stag patronus? :) and I think you've achieved your masculine look. This is a very handsome card.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Cut it Up for our Create Your Own Background Paper challenge!
