For our Inkspirational challenge this fortnight we have a word prompt: GROW.
I
decided on using a digi from A Day for Daisies, colored with Promarkers. The cream paper was embossed, then I put together the scene with the fussy cut image, diverse flowers and pearls and some leftover elements from other projects.
Please head over to the challenge blog to see the wonderful makes of my INK-teamies.
This card is also for:

ReplyDeleteHi Pia, love how you have built this image up and although it is not CAS, it still has that kind of feel to it...not sure why!! I really like that background embossing-great texture. And then the sweet glowers and leaves-like how they overlap the card. Adore the simple image-all that is needed. Lovely Spring Feel. Thanks for joining Time Out x

Such a perfect little scene! So sweet and cheery.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card, Pia. I'm trying so hard to see signs of Spring in my garden. After that horrible winter storm we had here in Texas, all I see is brown everywhere. There are tiny little shoots here and there, but we are still trying to figure out if it's the plant that is growing or if they're weeds :-) Love your card with the little guy and the pretty background.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great Easter.
Hugs,
Lena
Beautiful texture and pops of dimension Pia! I love the edging as well~

ReplyDeleteThis is so fantastic for our challenge at Time Out. I love the image of that little guy with his watering can. Love the embossing and the deckled edges. Thanks so much for playing with us.
ReplyDeleteAdorable image. The butter yellow creme on teh background piece looks great with this sweet little gardener, and loved the water flow. Tearing around the embossed piece added such a pretty dimension, and the embossing was great texture too. Liked all the 3d posies and greenery too. TFS Hugs MH.
ReplyDeleteLOve your colours Pia. A simply GOrgeous design too.
ReplyDeleteI've lots of Spring flowers showing their heads, a sign of better weather to come {I hope}.
