For this card I used 5 out of the 6 stamps from the freebie set, and a swirl stamp from a 7gypsies set. The frame die is from Lawn Fawn. In retrospect I could have tried using a colored ink instead, but black and white does not go out of style.
This card is also for:
Addicted to Stamps and More - #409 Any Occasion
Creative Knockouts - #410 Celebrations
2) CHRISTMAS CARD
For this card I used one of the birds twice and one of the birdhouses from the freebie stamp set. The die cut leaves are Concord & 9th, the background is embossed with a folder from Spellbinders. Three pearls and a Christmas greeting in Norwegian.
This card is also for:

Two striking cards Pia, great for the twofer! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white and lately I’m often tempted not to colour cards. Perhaps my mind needs clarity.
ReplyDeleteLove both your creations, and the pop of green in the second one is a great choice!

Your monochromatic cards are just perfect,as you say black and white never dated and is really sophisticated love the splash of green in the Christmas card
ReplyDeleteTwo very striking cards Pia.
ReplyDeleteI LOve them both.
Sometimes when we get freebies? We never know if they will be used.
But, I find if kept they always find a place on our cards.

ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful stylish cards Pia. Very well designed. Marlies
ReplyDeleteYou've created so much interest with your designs by leaving one completely black and white and the other mostly black and white, Pia! You're right, it never goes out of style. I love the stylized flourishy bird you chose for your prompt, which looks great as part of both your designs! Thank you for playing in TCC #40! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying the black and white on your first card, Pia. It's very definitely classic, and you're right when you say that that color combination never goes out of style. It's a very sweet set, too! Love the greenery you've added on your Christmas card. It pulls the eye in, and helps to make this nice and festive! Great cards.
