Pink for Christmas!

This time I've challenged myself to use non-traditional colors, being inspired by the color scheme over at 52CCT. I'm not quite sure about how I feel about this card as I usually make Christmas cards in traditional colors or in brown and beige tones.
I've used lots of pink: the DP with spots, panels, seam binding ribbon and rhinestones. The snowy DP is grey and the punched greeneries are light green.
I've used a Santa stamp from Tim Holtz and a sentiment stamp from LOTV. The stars are made with Memory Box dies.
The layout is inspired by the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

This card is for these challenges:
1) Sunday Sketch & Stamp - #212 Sketch
2) 52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Color challenge
3) Completely Christmas - #19 Anything Goes

  6. Oh my goodness, Pia. This is one of my favourite cards!

This image is stunningand the grey and pink so classy. Now I want to rush out and buy those MB stars...and last week MB was 40% off at my LSS ... dammn! I missed it!

I may be on a consumables freeze...but non consumables are OK!

Using my onhand papers, string, ribbon, and other stash, frees up $'s for more dies!!! I am still being a bit thrifty there too but do allow a few!

I just love this card...so pretty and stunning!

This week I forgot a commitment for a Xmas card due on Sunday...I am gong to have to try to make a card from the scraps up here...mostly pink/white and black...and no dies left up here...should be fun!
