Today is the start of a new Stella Says Sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug, and this is my Guest Designer card.
My sister seems to be in constant need of cards for young boys as her two sons now are in school and they seem to be invited to so many birthday parties. So I decided to go with this cute wizard, you can find him in the Bugaboo
store here.
As background I used a chevron patterned DP decorated with stars, I used a MB stencil and embossing paste. The border is made with a scrap piece, I used a MS border punch and decorated with twine and stamped a birthday greeting.
I'd also like to participate in these challenges with my card:
1) Top Tip Tuesday - Chevrons
2) Open-Minded Challenges - #22 Halloween or Dressing Up
3) C.R.A.F.T. - #283 Fantasy
4) Allsorts - Masculine
Cool colors and I like the papers. So cute!! :)

Great fussy cutting and his glasses look awesome Pia!
ReplyDeleteGreat card for a little fellow. I do know what you mean about your sister needing cards. Here it is popular to invite the whole class to the party and then hold a second party for family and family friends.
ReplyDeleteSo sometimes the grankids will go to 2 parties for the same child. 2 parties, 2 cards. They keep my busy cranking out cards for them. I do not always show those on my blog as sometimes i make duplicates, and sometimes they are fairly plain card that use up precut images and embellies from my early cardmaking days...yep you guessed it...a bit too plain and old school to showcase on my blog...teehee
Now you and all your readers know my secret!
I bet your sister was happy to get this one... a great boys card
