Birthday Monkey

Yippi, it's Friday and finally I have a week-end with no pre-made plans, I can do exactly what I feel like doing, I can even choose to do nothing - oh glory!

My card today features this week's  Bugaboo freebie, so why not head over to fetch this little monkey in the store! Jodie also offers a 50% discount on all Easter images, so if you need some it's wise to get them now.

I colored the monkey with my Promarkers, fussy cut him and mounted him onto a die cut oval. I tried out different backgrounds and dies, but I decided to keep it fairly simple, just adding some die cut ballonsmade  with a Poppy Design die, a stamped birthday greeting and some enamel dots. I doodled a frame with a black pen, and that was it.

    Brilliant card and cute monkey. Yes with the cameo, like anything electronic it does take time, practice, looking at tutorials on you tube etc but, it is easy to use.xx

    Hi Pia! Just love your little monkey and the fabulous patterned ballons!! Also the DP background is perfect, it's matches very well with the red and white! (I have finally understood that DP is for Designed Paper..., I call it "patterned paper". :D )
    The sparkle on the balloon and the doodles around the border look great!
