Owl in a tree

Over at Outlawz Twisted Thursday our optional challenge theme or twist this week is "Add a charm". Our sponsor for May is Sami Stamps. I used an image called "Snowflake Feathers".
I decided to make him a spring scene, adding die cut leaves made with a die from Marianne and a metal flower charm onto wich I attached one pearl.
The background is embossed with a Darice woodgrain EF, matted onto kraft cardstock.
I was thinking about adding a sentiment, but decided against it so that I can use the card for any occasion I might need it for.

    Sooooo cuteeeee!!! Just love this little sweet owl, Pia!!! Your card is really fresh and bright, perfect for spring time! The embossed woodgrain background matches very well with this cute owl and adds to the card a very lovely texture. The details are so pretty! Wonderful work!

    This is one goofy looking owl, but he is just so cute with those 'big eyes'. Made me smile. Love the stitched oval layout against the woodgrain EF too. Nice detail with the patterned leaf flourish and the pretty flower. TFS & Hugs

    What a cutie pie of an image and a really great card!
    Sorry I have not been by visiting. Finally finished the garden beds and now we are off to the lake tomorrow for some much needed R&R...more time to visit up there as there are not so many chores and projects calling to me! lol
