Fairy and Stars

Over at TIME OUT there's a CASE challenge - the smaller image shows Deepti's beautiful card.
I was inspired by the ripped paper, the vellum and black and white.
The stars are made with embossing paste and a Memory Box stencil. I used Spellbinders dies for the fairy and oval panel with sentiment, the small cut out stars are made fith a Lawn Fawn die. I used a corner rounder punch on two of the corners - that's not typically me, but I do like the effect, I think it softens up the design a bit.

I'd like to enter my card in these challenges:
1) TIME OUT Challenges - #32 CASE
2) Seize The Birthday - Birthday
3) Moving along with the Times - Texture
4) Simply Create Too - #86 Keep It Simple

  6. This is just lovely, Pia!! I'm not a young girl anymore, but I love fairies :)and this is wonderful in this sky full of beautiful stars you have made with embossing paste! The green DP matches so well with the other parts and the two layers look great with the rounded edges: you have done a perfect choise with them, the card is sweet and elegant at the some time!

  15. It's beautiful, Pia. Love the airy feel you've achieved with the pretty fairy and all the light elements. Wonderful paste stars, emphasized with the die cut dimensional ones. Brilliant idea to use the torn vellum behind your sweet fairy & against the night sky. Also like the way you've done the corners...and that sentiment is wonderful too. Great card. TFS & Hugs
