Bathing Frog

Happy Friday! I'm here to show you my card featuring the Freebie Friday frog, you can pick it up at no cost in the Bugaboo store.

I made the card base using stitched rectangle and oval dies from Dienamics. A bit of ink and embossing powder used at the top part inside the frame, a piece of Kaisercraft DP at the bottom.
I made waves using a die from Memory Box and ripped a leftover piece of kraft to make the sand.
I had planned to add the frog standing neatly in front of the waves, then changed my mind and wanted it to look like it was taking a dive.
The sentiment is cut out from a Kaisercraft DP.
A bit of fun, a bit of quirky, and with lots of summer feel.

    Ah ah!!! This frog that is taking a dive is so much fun!!! You have had a so creative idea!! This card is wonderful, love it so much the scene you have created in the stiched oval! The waves are perfect and the little piece of ripped kraft scrap seems true sand! Stunning! You are so talented!

    love the green and red (remembering me your christmas card hehe)
    and cute idea with that water dies and that kraft for sand
    you must be having sooo much DP right
    my DP is so less and I keep it till today hihi
    I stamped my DP self you know it dear hehehe...
    love the double frame Oval and the rectangle..
    you know I only buy rectangle but not the one with stitches aaarrrrggg must save some money more to buy the one like you have this look so adorable I love this DIES Pia

    DH likes frogs (I'm ok with the cute ones. The 'real' ones give me the creeps!) This little green guy with his big smile and his beach attire is just such fun. I love the way you've placed him in a dive position. Also like the way you've framed the scene with the oval frames, and the bright little checks on the under mat. Love the stitching on the outer frame. I DO like my stitchy mats! Cute sentiment to spark up things too.
