You're an angel

It's Thursday and time for an OLDIE BUT GOODIE over at Catch the Bug and a new challenge over at Outlawz Twisted Thursday. This week there's no twist - a plain ad easy "ANYTHING GOES".

I colored the image using Promarkers and silver and gold metallic gel pens. The sentiment (you're an angel) is heat embossed using gold EP.
The background paper is embossed.
As for embellies I kept it simple, adding just 3 sequins and stitching with a metallic gold thread around the edges.

    Simply and cute, very lovely card!! This little angel on the anchor is really sweet coloured with neutral markers and gel pens. Your metallic embossed background is stunning!! Love the sequins! Also Kitty use always sequins instead of pearls. I think they are more simple and elegant with their sparkling!

    I happen to love angels nearly as much as cardinals, so this one is particularly sweet to me. Love the little one perched on the anchor with the peace dove above him. I like the neutral palette, and that embossing on the background looks perfect with the anchor motif. Love the gold metallic thread on the stitching...a very nice extra detail. TFS & Hugs

    as you know I always love your black white and grey card
