Superman

I'm here to share my DT card for the new "Stella Says Sketch" challenge over at Catch the Bug..
I used the image AKV superhero - fly 2. I colored the image with Promarkers and fussy cut it. I used dies from Dienamics to make the oval and a Memory Box one to make the citycape. I did two rows of buildings and added orange paper behind the cut out windows for some glow. I chose a DP I felt added something "comic book" inspired to my card. The road is a strip of washi and I added some sequins stars to the sky.

    Fantastic make Pia both my sons (adults) would love a card like this the image is beautifully coloured and the city skyline die a superb touch. I live 50 miles north of Aberdeen but visit frequently as my elder son lives there and my other son works there, went to see Macbeth yesterday whilst the younger was at work. Hugs Meg xx

    This scene is really wonderful, Pia! Love how you haven't removed all the windows in the two layers of cityscape, so they are illuminated only here and there! This makes the city more realistic!!
    All the details are just perfect and I like so much the "comic book" feel for this superhero!! You have made a stunning and very creative work!!

    I adore this fun card Pia, love the flying image and the newspaper paper and naturally the skyline and glowing Windows!! Great to se you at Ink. I haven't been so well this weekend so no time to craft but at least I got to comment on the fun card. Hope to get some crafting done next week xx

    Awesome city scape with this die all done in black with the window lights aglow. Just great with this cute superguy placed over the stitched oval newsprint and that stricking black frame. Love the layout design and these elements are used just splendidly to create your awesome card. Hope there's special little guy to enjoy this one. TFS & Hugs
