From May through August the sketch challenge over at Catch the Bug
is running on a monthly basis, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the days of beautiful weather.I made my card in different shades of peach and pink, using paper scraps and white ribbon and lace. The image, which you can find here, is colored using Promarkers and fussy cut. The die cut swirls are made with dies from Marianne and Magnolia, there's a bit of frantage added to the die cut gold circle. A bit of stitching and distressing the edges and that's about it.

I love the pinks and peaches against the brown and this has a great sense of movement.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and love the image not seen that before,gorgeous rose trim and great dies--thank you for the lovely comment on my card I didn't soften the edges of the image but I think because it was just printed on my promarker paper and not watercolour paper-the water reacted with the ink -it was a tester really and if it didn't work would just print out again but was quite pleased with the soft effect--you sounded as if you have had a very busy week

This sweet image looks beautiful topping the frantaged circle. Love those beautiful white swirls that emphasize the hair swirling too. Lovely white roses, and this layout is so pretty to show off this delightful peach & pink image. Well done! TFS & Hugs

Apart from the impeccable finish (which is your trade-mark!) I am amazed at how in sync all the swirls are on your card - the hair, the diecuts, even the floral lace. So beautifully put together. Hope you enjoyed your little break.
